Kladow (German pronunciation: [ˈklaːdoː] ⓘ) is the southernmost district of the Borough of Spandau in Berlin, Germany.
Royal Air Force Gatow, or more commonly RAF Gatow, was a British Royal Air Force station ( military airbase) in the district of Gatow in south-western Berlin, west of the Havel river, in the borough of Spandau.
The museum is in Berlin at a former Luftwaffe and Royal Air Force (RAF) airfield, RAF Gatow. The focus is on military history, particularly the history of the post-war German Air Force. The museum has a collection of more than 200,000 items, including 155 aeroplanes, 5,000 uniforms and 30,000 books.
The suburb of Kladow in the very southwest of Berlin exudes rural charm. Magnificent villas stand next to detached houses, with plenty of greenery in between. Like the neighboring district of Gatow, Kladow has a village-like character, but more people live here.
