Arie Zaban (Hebrew: אריה צבן ; born in 1961) is an Israeli professor of chemistry. He is President of Bar-Ilan University . Biography. Arie Zaban was born in Israel. [1] . He served in the Israel Air Force as a Phantom pilot. [1] [2] He earned a B.Sc. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Bar-Ilan University. [2] .
He previously served as Vice President of Research and as the Founding Director of the Bar-Ilan University Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials. Since July 2022, Prof. Zaban has also served as the Chairman of the Association of University Heads in Israel (VERA).
