Felix Weltsch (6 October 1884, Prague – 9 November 1964, Jerusalem), was a German-speaking Jewish librarian, philosopher, author, editor, publisher and journalist. A close friend of Max Brod , Ludwig Winder and Franz Kafka , he was one of the most important Zionists in Bohemia .
Felix Weltsch (* 6. Oktober 1884 in Prag, Österreich-Ungarn; † 9. November 1964 in Jerusalem ), Dr. jur. u. phil., war ein böhmisch-israelischer Journalist, Schriftsteller, Philosoph und Bibliothekar.
Felix Weltsch lernte Franz Kafka vermutlich 1903 über ihren gemeinsamen Freund Max Brod kennen. Es entwickelte sich eine lebenslange Freundschaft.
Philosopher and journalist, doctor of law and philosophy. A fellow-pupil of Brod’s at the Piarist elementary school, he then attended the German high school in the Old Town where he was one grade below Kafka’s. He met Brod and Kafka again when they were studying law at the Prague German University.
