Jacques Hébert (Alençon, 15 de novembro de 1757 – Paris, 24 de março de 1794) foi um político francês e um jornalista. Redactor do Père Duchesne, exerceu preponderante influência na Comuna de Paris. Chefe da facção ultra-revolucionária, da extrema-esquerda jacobina, entrou em luta com Robespierre, que mandou aprisioná-lo.
Jacques René Hébert (French: [ʒak ʁəne ebɛʁ]; 15 November 1757 – 24 March 1794) was a French journalist and leader of the French Revolution. As the founder and editor of the radical newspaper Le Père Duchesne, he had thousands of followers known as the Hébertists (French Hébertistes).
Jacques Hébert was a political journalist during the French Revolution who became the chief spokesman for the Parisian sansculottes (extreme radical revolutionaries). He and his followers, who were called Hébertists, pressured the Jacobin regime of 1793–94 into instituting the most radical measures.

Jacques Hébert. Jacques Rene Hébert (1757-1794) was a populist journalist who led the most radical sections of the Paris sans-culottes. Born in Normandy, Hébert was encouraged to become a lawyer by his father, a former judge. By the mid-1780s Hébert had moved to Paris, where he eked out a living writing plays and pamphlets.

In November 1792 the journalist Jacques Hébert, writing in Le Père Duchesne, called for the execution of King Louis XVI: “Just think, damn it, how surrounded we are with false brothers. All the conspirators were not at Orleans and the Abbey; their accomplices are still in our midst. These worthy men… still dwell in Paris.
