Wolf Vostell (Leverkusen, 14 de outubro de 1932 - Berlim, 3 de abril de 1998) foi um pintor e escultor alemão e uma figura fundamental da arte na segunda guerra, metade do século XX. Foi um dos pioneiros da Instalação , Videoarte , do Happening e do Fluxus .

Wolf Vostell (* 14. Oktober 1932 in Leverkusen; † 3. April 1998 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Maler, Bildhauer und Happeningkünstler der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wolf Vostell gilt als einer der Wegbereiter des Environments, der Installation, der Videokunst, des Happenings und der Fluxus -Bewegung.
Seit den 1950er Jahren thematisierte Wolf Vostell in zahlreichen Werken den Holocaust. Wolf Vostell wollte mit seiner Kleidung nicht zum Ausdruck bringen das er jüdisch sei, sondern auch durch seine Kleidung die Gesellschaft an das erinnern, was nie vergessen werden darf.
As três SACOM (Semana de Arte Contemporânea de Malpartida) organizadas por Vostell entre 1978 e 1983 inscrevem a Península Ibérica no cenário internacional das vanguardas artísticas do pós-guerra.
Wolf Vostell was born in Leverkusen in 1932. He initially trained (1950-53) as a photo-lithographer, but in 1954 started studying Painting and Experimental Typography at the Werkkunstschule, Wuppertal.
