Jessie Willcox Smith (September 6, 1863 – May 3, 1935) was an American illustrator during the Golden Age of American illustration. She was considered "one of the greatest pure illustrators".

30 de abr. de 2024 · Jessie Willcox Smith (born September 8, 1863, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.—died May 3, 1935, Philadelphia) was an American artist best remembered for her illustrations, often featuring children, for numerous popular magazines, advertising campaigns, and children’s books.
Smith’s robust career included the illustration of nearly 40 books including such favorites as Little Women and The Water Babies. Smith’s career lasted until 1933, when her eyesight began to fail.
