Peter Behrens (14 April 1868 – 27 February 1940) was a leading German architect, graphic and industrial designer, best known for his early pioneering AEG Turbine Hall in Berlin in 1909. Arquiteto alemão, Peter Behrens nasceu em 1868, em Hamburgo, e faleceu em 1940. Estudou pintura em Kalsruhe e em Dusseldorf, deslocando-se posteriormente para Munique , em 1890. Dois anos mais tarde, juntamente com alguns colegas, funda o movimento Munich Sezession , dedicando-se às artes gráficas, à pintura e ao desenho.
