Ted Nasmith is a freelance illustrator and graphic artist, currently residing in Newmarket, Ontario. A natural artist from an early age, he entered a graphic arts program in high school, where his talent as an illustrator was discovered and developed.
Ted Nasmith is well-known as an illustrator of J.R.R. Tolkien and other fantasy fiction, and is a long-time fan. He is responsible for both the 2010 Tolkien Calendar and Diary. Ted is accomplished in architectural renderings, and his career has also included book illustration and automotive portraiture, among other work.
