Alumni Stadium is a football stadium located on the lower campus of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) west of downtown Boston. Alumni Stadium was constructed before the 1988-89 school year and was named to honor all men and women who had graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School.
Each Fall since 1957, the Boston College Eagles football team has called Alumni Stadium their home. Prior to its construction, the Eagles played at Alumni Field that was constructed in 1915 and had a seating capacity of 15,000.
