  1. Christian Lous Lange (17 September 1869 – 11 December 1938) was a Norwegian historian, teacher, and political scientist. He was one of the world's foremost exponents of the theory and practice of internationalism.

  5. In 1921 Christian Lange of Norway was awarded the peace prize for his efforts to promote international cooperation. Lange served as the first secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee and helped to build up the Nobel Institute in Oslo.
