Marjorie Bruce was the eldest daughter of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, and the mother of Robert II of Scotland. She was captured and imprisoned by the English for four years, and died in childbirth or shortly after in 1316 or 1317.

Marjorie Bruce was born in 1296 and became a prisoner of Edward I of England after her father's defeat at Methven. She married Walter Stewart, the High Steward of Scotland, and died in childbirth in 1316, leaving a son who became Robert II of Scotland.

Marjorie Bruce was the only child of King Robert I the Bruce and Isabella of Mar. She survived the Scottish Wars of Independence, married Robert Stewart, and gave birth to Robert II, the first Stewart king of Scots.
