  1. Lord Guildford Dudley (also spelt Guilford) (c. 1535 – 12 February 1554) was an English nobleman who was married to Lady Jane Grey. She occupied the English throne from 10 July until 19 July 1553, having been declared the heir of King Edward VI.

  7. 27 de mai. de 2022 · Born in March 1537, Guildford Dudley was the fourth surviving son of John Dudley, Duke of Northumberland and Lady Jane Guildford. Northumberland ruled the regency council while King Edward VI was a minor. The Spanish diplomat Don Diego de Mendoza arrived in England in May 1537 and agreed to act as godfather to Guildford.
