Eleanor of Toledo (Spanish: Leonor Álvarez de Toledo y Pimentel-Osorio, Italian: Eleonora di Toledo; 11 January 1522 – 17 December 1562) was a Spanish noblewoman who became a Duchess of Florence as the first wife of Cosimo I de' Medici.
Nascida em 1522, Eleonora Álvarez de Toledo e Osorio era uma nobre espanhola, filha do vice-rei de Nápoles e marquês de Villafranca, Dom Pedro Álvarez de Toledo. Em 1539, Eleonora se casou com Cosmo I de Médici, duque de Florença e grão-duque da Toscana, com quem teria onze filhos.
Leonor de Toledo, conocida también como Leonor Álvarez de Toledo 1 2 3 4 o Eleonora Álvarez de Toledo 5 6 ( Alba de Tormes, Salamanca, 1522 - Pisa, 17 de diciembre de 1562) fue una aristócrata española y duquesa consorte de Florencia por ser la esposa de Cosme I de Médici desde 1539 hasta su fallecimiento.

29 de nov. de 2022 · Eleonora Álvarez di (of) Toledo (b. 1522–d. 1562) was the second duchess of Florence and married Cosimo I de’ Medici (b. 1519–d. 1574) in 1539. She was born in Léon, Spain, and then moved to Naples in 1534, when her father, Don Pedro Álvarez de Toledo, Duke of Alba and Marquis of Villafranca, became Viceroy of Naples.
