Hlothere (died February 6, 685) was the king of Kent in Anglo-Saxon England. He was the son of Erconberht and brother of Egbert, whom he succeeded in 673. Hlothere appears to have shared power with his nephew Eadric (Egbert’s son); laws still extant seem to have been issued in their joint names.
