Alexandre Stuart (1454 - Paris, 7 de agosto de 1485) foi o filho do rei Jaime II da Escócia e de Maria de Gueldres, e irmão do rei Jaime III da Escócia. Biografia. Foi feito terceiro duque de Albany em 1458, recebendo o senhorio da Ilha de Man (Isle of Man).
Alexander Stewart, Duke of Albany ( c. 1454 – 7 August 1485), was a Scottish prince and the second surviving son of King James II of Scotland. He fell out with his older brother, King James III, and fled to France, where he unsuccessfully sought help.

He was created Duke of Albany by his father the king before 1458 and was also given the earldom of March and the lordships of Annandale and the Isle of Man.
Alexander Stewart, duke of Albany (born c. 1454—died 1485, France) was the second son of James II of Scotland, created duke of Albany in or before 1458. Both he and John, earl of Mar, quarrelled with their brother James III, who imprisoned them in 1479.
John was a son of Alexander Stewart, Duke of Albany, son of King James II of Scotland. He was the only son of his father's second marriage, to Anne de la Tour d'Auvergne, daughter of Bertrand VI of Auvergne. The ambitious though unsuccessful Alexander had fled Scotland to France in 1479, and married Anne.
