Pater Emmeram OSB (* 1. März 1902 in Regensburg; † 3. Oktober 1994 ebenda; eigentlich Max Emanuel Maria Siegfried Joseph Antonius Ignatius Lamoral Prinz von Thurn und Taxis) war ein deutscher Benediktiner und Mitglied des früheren Fürstenhauses Thurn und Taxis
Max Emanuel joined the Order of Saint Benedict in 1923 and became a member of Neresheim Abbey. For his religious name, he chose Emmeram after Saint Emmeram of Regensburg, patron saint of St. Emmeram Castle (previously a monastery), the residence of the princely family.
Frater Willibald Hofmann legte nach seinem Noviziat die zeitliche Profess für drei Jahre ab. Pater Emmeram Brolich war schon einmal im Orden, ging dann aber den Weg eines Diözesanpriesters in Regensburg und ist nun wieder in den Zisterzienserorden eingetreten.
Boasting well over 500 rooms, it is the largest privately inhabited palace in Germany. The magnificent palace is built on the extensive complex of one of Europe’s most important Benedictine abbeys, the Imperial Abbey of St. Emmeram. The oldest sections of the complex date back to the 12th century.
Having been transformed into a magnificent residence in 1816, St. Emmeram's Abbey is considered to be one of the most important monuments in the historicism style in the whole of Germany. The Princes of Thurn and Taxis have lived in the palace for 200 years.

Emmeram Kränkl OSB (* 29. März 1942 in Klattau) ist emeritierter Abt der Benediktinerabtei St. Stephan in Augsburg. Seit seinem Rücktritt 2006 lebt er in der Benediktinerabtei Schäftlarn .
