Michael Sattler ( Staufen, 1495 — Rotemburgo, 21 de maio de 1527) foi um teólogo e líder dos anabatistas "Irmãos Suíços". Juventude. Sattler tornou-se monge beneditino no monastério de Saint Peter, após estudar na Universidade de Friburgo, onde aprendeu grego e hebraico.
Michael Sattler (1490 – 20 May 1527) was a monk who left the Roman Catholic Church during the Protestant Reformation to become one of the early leaders of the Anabaptist movement. He was particularly influential for his role in developing the Schleitheim Confession.
Michael Sattler studied chemistry and developed novel nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)-spectroscopy methods to study biological macromolecules during his doctoral studies at the University of Frankfurt.
