  6. Karl Harrer was born on 8th October 1890. He became a journalist and worked for several right-wing newspapers. He was also a member of the Thule Society. In January 1919 Harrer joined with Anton Drexler to form the German Workers's Party (GPW). Other early members included Hermann Esser, Gottfried Feder and Dietrich Eckart.
