Robinah Nabbanja (born 17 December 1969) is a Ugandan educator and politician who serves as the Prime Minister of Uganda, having been nominated to the office on 8 June 2021. She was formally confirmed by the Parliament on 21 June 2021. [1]
Robinah Nabbanja (Kakumiro, 17 de dezembro de 1969) é uma educadora e política ugandesa, atual primeira-ministra do país desde 2021. Nabbanja é a primeira mulher a ocupar o cargo de primeiro-ministro de Uganda.
Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja was appointed as Prime Minister and Leader of Government Business in Parliament designate, by H.E. President Yoweri Museveni on 8th June 2021 becoming the 11th person and first female, to occupy the office since Uganda became independent in 1962.
The prime minister of Uganda chairs the Cabinet of Uganda, although the president is the effective head of government. Robinah Nabbanja has been the prime minister since 21 June 2021. [1] The post of Prime Minister was created for the first time in 1962.

26 de jun. de 2021 · In the new cabinet named on 8 June 2021, Robinah Nabbanja was named Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda cabinet, 2021-2026 replacing Rt. Hon Dr Ruhakana Rugunda was named to the post of envoy for Special Duties in the Office of the President of Uganda.
