尾辻 秀久｜おつじ ひでひさ｜プロフィール. 昭和15年10月2日、鹿児島県生まれ。 誕生～学生時代. 3歳の時に、ソロモン群島沖の海戦で父を亡くす。 父・秀一は、駆逐艦「夕霧」艦長（海軍少佐）。 享年32歳、駆逐艦と運命を共に。 （左写真は、幼少のころ。 母・智と一緒に） 高校時代は陸上部に所属。 （写真は玉龍高校陸上部のころ） 800mで県大会優勝するなど、活躍した。 その後、進学した防大でも箱根駅伝に出場。 （一区をトップでスタート、最下位でたすきをつなぐ） 防大在学中、20歳のときに母・智が41歳の若さで急死。 当時高校在学中だった妹を進学させるため、退学して鹿児島に戻る。 酒屋のアルバイトなどでお金を貯め、妹を無事大学へ進学させる。
