Yitang Zhang (Chinese: 张益唐; born February 5, 1955) is a Chinese-American mathematician primarily working on number theory and a professor of mathematics at the University of California, Santa Barbara since 2015.

4 de nov. de 2022 · Yitang Zhang, a mathematician who proved the bounded gaps conjecture, submitted a paper to arXiv in November 2022. The paper concerns the lower bound for the Dirichlet L-function L(1,chi) and its relation to the distribution of zeros of a family of L-functions.
