Koot Hoomi (also spelled Kuthumi, and frequently referred to simply as K.H.) is said to be one of the Mahatmas that inspired the founding of the Theosophical Society in 1875.
Na Grande Fraternidade Branca Universal, Kuthumi ocupa o cargo de Instrutor do Mundo, juntamente com o Mestre Sananda. Sua função é transmitir a Verdade Divina ao homem por intermédio das religiões.
Segundo informação das obras do próprio Ramatís, Francisco de Assis, o doce monge do amor, foi, na encarnação anterior, João, o Evangelista – o “discípulo amado de Jesus”, a quem foi inspirado mais tarde o Apocalipse, em seus derradeiros dias na ilha de Patmos.
