Hannah Elizabeth Milhous Nixon (March 7, 1885 – September 30, 1967) was the mother of U.S. president Richard Nixon. Hannah's influence on her son was profound, and he frequently spoke about his admiration for his mother, including at his farewell speech to the White House staff.

WHITTIER, Calif., Sept. 30 (AP)--Mrs. Hannah Milhous Nixon, mother of former Vice President Richard M. Nixon, died today in the Whitman Convalescent Home.
Nixon's family ancestry included colonial Pennsylvania Quakers. He was raised Methodist, however, but converted to Quakerism when he married Hannah Milhous. Sarah Nixon died in January 1888, leading Francis to live with an uncle during his father's struggle to avoid poverty and to cope with the loss of Sarah.
