Husband Edward Kimmel (February 26, 1882 – May 14, 1968) was a United States Navy four-star admiral who was the commander in chief of the United States Pacific Fleet (CINCPACFLT) during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
Husband E. Kimmel. Rear Admiral Kimmel graduated from the Naval Academy in 1904. He was promoted, through the grades to Admiral and retired in 1942 after 42 years of service, 20 of which were spent at sea.
