Angela Constance (born 15 July 1970) is a Scottish politician serving as Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Home Affairs since 2023. A member of the Scottish National Party (SNP), she has been the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Almond Valley since 2007.
Angela Constance is the current holder of this role since May 2024. She is responsible for various areas of justice, security and resilience in Scotland, and has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament since 2007.
Angela has been active in politics since she was a student at the University of Glasgow and, before becoming an MSP in 2007, she was a local councillor in West Lothian.
Angela Constance is a current MSP for Almond Valley and a former MSP for Livingston. She is the Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Home Affairs and has spoken on topics such as crime, mental health and safe consumption rooms.
