Denikin is one of the key figures in the history of the Civil War and the White movement. After “Bykhov's sitting”, on November 19, 1917, he was released on the orders of Dukhonin and went to the Don. In Rostov and Novocherkassk, Denikin formed the Volunteer Army together with Kornilov and Alekseev.
Anton Ivanovich Denikin was a general who led the anti-Bolshevik (“White”) forces on the southern front during the Russian Civil War (1918–20). A professional in the Imperial Russian Army, Denikin served in the Russo-Japanese War (1904–05) and in World War I (1914–16).
