Festus Gontebanye Mogae (born 21 August 1939) is a Botswana politician and economist who served as the third President of Botswana from 1998 to 2008. He succeeded Quett Masire as President in 1998 [2] and was re-elected in October 2004; after ten years in office.

Membro do Partido Democrático do Botswana (BDP), ele sucedeu o presidente Quett Masire, do qual era o vice-presidente de 1992 a 1998. Eleito em 1998, foi reeleito em outubro de 2004.
