William Richard "Bill" Shorten (Melbourne, 12 de maio de 1967) é um político australiano que foi, por seis anos, de 2013 a 2019, o Líder da Oposição no Parlamento da Austrália, na sua capacidade de chefe do Partido Trabalhista.
Born in Melbourne, Shorten studied law at Monash University. He worked in politics and in law before becoming an organiser with the Australian Workers' Union (AWU) in 1994. He was elected state secretary of the Victorian Branch of the AWU in 1998 before becoming AWU national secretary in 2001.
Elected to the House of Representatives for Maribyrnong, Victoria, 2007. Re-elected 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022. Ministerial appointments. Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Children's Services from 3.12.2007 to 14.9.2010.
