Wang Hongwen (6 December 1935 – 3 August 1992) was a Chinese labour activist and politician who was the youngest member of the "Gang of Four".

Wang Hongwen (chinês: 王洪文, pinyin: Wáng Hóngwén; meados de Dezembro de 1935 – 3 de Agosto de 1992) foi o membro mais jovem da Gangue dos Quatro, um grupo de oficiais do Partido Comunista da China que tomou o poder durante e depois da Revolução Cultural (1966-1969) na República Popular da China.
Wang Hongwen was a member of the "Gang of Four" during the Cultural Revolution in China. He rose from a working-class background to become the Vice-Chairman of the CCP, but was later imprisoned for "counterrevolutionary activity".

Wang Hongwen (1935-1992) was a former soldier, Red Guard and the youngest member of the Gang of Four. Wang was born in Jilin province in far north-eastern China. As a teenager he enlisted in the People’s Liberation Army and fought in the Korean War, before being put in charge of security at a Shanghai factory.
