Louis-Gabriel Suchet, duc d'Albuféra (2 March 1770 – 3 January 1826), was a French Marshal of the Empire and one of the most successful commanders of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. He is regarded as one of the greatest generals of the Napoleonic Wars.

Louis-Gabriel Suchet, duc d'Albufera, né le 2 mars 1770 à Lyon et mort le 3 janvier 1826 à Marseille, est un militaire français, élevé à la dignité de maréchal d'Empire par Napoléon en 1811. Fils d'un soyeux lyonnais, il commence sa carrière en 1791 en s'engageant dans la Garde nationale.

After campaigning in Italy and Switzerland during the War of the Second Coalition, he fought with distinction as a divisional commander in the successful campaigns of 1805, 1806, and 1807.
