Mōri Terumoto (毛利 輝元, January 22, 1553 – June 2, 1625) was a Japanese daimyō. The son of Mōri Takamoto, and grandson and successor of the great warlord Mōri Motonari, he fought against Oda Nobunaga but was eventually overcome.

Motonari’s grandson, Mōri Terumoto (1553–1625), became the major opponent of Oda Nobunaga when that great warrior made his bid to reunify Japan. After Oda was assassinated in 1582 Terumoto made peace with Oda’s successor, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, whose trusted general he became.
Mōri Terumoto, one of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's council of Five Elders, built Hiroshima castle between 1589 and 1599. [1] It was located on the delta of the Otagawa river. There was no Hiroshima city or town at the time, and the area was called Gokamura, meaning "five villages".

Môri Terumoto. Môri Terumoto was born Môri Kotsumaru, the son of Môri Takamoto - heir to the great Môri Motonari. Takamoto died in 1563, however, and Motonari, though over 60, was forced to rule in his stead until Kotsumaru could come of age.

He became a trusted general of Hideyoshi and was one of his Five Elders. He is also Hidemoto's adoptive father. Prior to his playable debut, Terumoto was a generic NPC since Samurai Warriors 2.
