Arthur Chichester, 1st Baron Chichester (May 1563 – 19 February 1625; known between 1596 and 1613 as Sir Arthur Chichester), of Carrickfergus in Ireland, was an English administrator and soldier who served as Lord Deputy of Ireland from 1605 to 1616.
Chichester, Arthur (1563–1625), soldier, politician, and lord deputy of Ireland, was born at Raleigh, Devon, in May 1563, the second son (of the seven sons and nine daughters) of Sir John Chichester of Raleigh and his wife, Gertrude, the daughter of Sir William Courtenay of Powderham Castle.

The Chichester Baronetcy, of Green Castle in the County of Donegal, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 13 September 1821 for Arthur Chichester, MP for Carrickfergus and Belfast. The title became extinct on his death in 1847.
Chichester, Arthur, 1st Baron [I] (1563–1625). Lord deputy of Ireland. Chichester came from a Devon family, his mother being a Courtenay of Powderham. After serving against the Armada and taking part in the expedition against Cadiz in 1596, he went to Ireland and was appointed governor of Carrickfergus.
