Nuri Pasha al-Said CH (Arabic: نوري السعيد; December 1888 – 15 July 1958) was an Iraqi politician during the Mandatory Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Iraq. He held various key cabinet positions and served eight terms as the Prime Minister of Iraq.

Nuri al-Said, Iraqi army officer, statesman, and political leader who maintained close ties with Britain during and after the mandate period (1921–32) and worked toward Arab unity. A supporter of the Hashemite dynasty, he served as prime minister on 14 occasions.

Nuri Al Said was born in Baghdad in 1888, where he studied before graduating from the Imperial Military Academy in Istanbul with the rank of lieutenant. He served in the Ottoman army and joined the staff college before becoming one of the founders of the Covenant Society.

Nuri al-Sa'id (1888-1958) was an army officer, a statesman, and an Arab nationalist. He fought with Faisal (who with his father led Arab troops in the revolt against Ottoman rule during World War I) and later became chief of staff, minister of defense, and prime minister when Faisal became king of the newly created Iraq.
