Candice "Candie" Payne (born 19 December 1981) is an English singer and songwriter. She released her debut album, I Wish I Could Have Loved You More, on Deltasonic in May 2007. She is the sister of singer/songwriter Howie Payne, former frontman of band the Stands, and Sean Payne, the drummer of the Zutons.
As well as showing a passion for drawing, Payne exhibited a talent for singing and first came to the spotlight as a singer and lyricist in 2007 with the release of her debut album ‘I Wish I Could Have Loved You More’ on Deltasonic/Sony BMG, to huge critical acclaim.

Candie Payne: The Age Of A Flower. We are delighted to present The Age Of A Flower; the first solo exhibition by Candie Payne. This ambitious collection features artwork across a range of media including original drawings and prints, interior design and installations.
Notice the word ‘we’ – it’s an important one. Despite being a solo artist, Candie collaborates with Simon Dine on her work. He’s best known for his output with Noonday Underground and for co-writing one of Paul Weller’s finest tracks, ‘It’s Written In The Stars’.
