Hound Dog Taylor was an American blues guitarist and singer. He was best known for his raw vocal style and searing slide guitar, using a cheap Teisco del Rey guitar and Sears Roebuck amplifier to great advantage. He was a part of 'House Rockers' band.
Hound Dog Taylor and the HouseRockers is the 1971 debut album of Hound Dog Taylor. Originally issued on LP as the first release on the Alligator label, it has subsequently been reissued on CD.
