Clannad is a 49-episode anime series that follows the life of Tomoya Okazaki, a high school student who befriends several girls with different personalities and problems. The series is a sequel to the original Clannad visual novel, and explores a new path called After Story that opens after all other options are exhausted.

Clannad is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key and released on April 28, 2004, for Windows. While both of Key's first two previous works, Kanon and Air, had been released first as adult games and then censored for the younger market, Clannad was specifically made for all ages.
Clannad (Irish pronunciation: [ˈklˠan̪ˠəd̪ˠ]) are an Irish band formed in 1970 in Gweedore, County Donegal, by siblings Ciarán, Pól and Moya Ui Bhraonáin (in English, Brennan) and their twin uncles Noel and Pádraig Ó Dúgáin (Duggan). They have adopted various musical styles throughout their history.
