Jalopy is a 1953 comedy film starring The Bowery Boys. The film was released on February 15, 1953 by Allied Artists and is the twenty-ninth film in the series. Jalopy represents the first Bowery Boys film to be released by Allied Artists, previous were by Monogram Pictures.
Sinopse. Slip has entered the Boys' rattletrap car in a souped-up jalopy race, but has no chance of winning until Satch, with the aid of a scientist acquaintance, comes up with a chemical concoction that acts as a super-fuel; but a rival entrant in the race learns of this and tries to get the formula for himself. Sach plays mad scientist and invents an explosive that also makes Slip's jalopy go really fast and win races. The manager of another racer sends the femme fatale to try to retrieve the secret from the boys. Decent entry in the Bowery Boys series, with lots of Huntz Hall bits...or is that bitz?
