Fantomas Against Fantomas (French: Fantômas contre Fantômas) is a 1949 French mystery thriller film directed by Robert Vernay and starring Marcelle Chantal, Aimé Clariond and Alexandre Rignault. It portrays the fictional master criminal Fantomas, who has had numerous films depicting his adventures.

A trilogy of Fantômas films, which started in 1964 with Fantômas, departed considerably from the novels by giving the story a more comedic tone as preceded by the first two Pink Panther films, and by making Fantômas (played by Jean Marais) more of a James Bond enemy by likewise borrowing from the first two Bond films.
Directed by Louis Feuillade. After his failed attempts to capture the ruthless crook and murderer Fantômas, Inspector Juve becomes the victim of a virulent press campaign which accuses him of being Fantômas himself. Whilst Juve languishes in a prison cell, his friend, the journalist Fandor, attempts to clear his name by tracking the real Fantômas.
