Synopsis. Physician Jane Alexander falls asleep at the opening of a new play by playboy writer Andre "Pappy" Cassil. Later, Andre tries to romance Edith Meredith at the cast party only to have Nancy Benson, his girl friend actress, interrupt with a phone call from New York.
