Sinopse. O juiz Foster (Erville Alderson) expulsa sua única filha de casa porque ela se casou com um artista de circo. Pouco antes de sua morte, algum tempo depois, ela deixa sua pequena filha Sally sob os cuidados de McGargle (W.C. Fields), um malabarista trapaceiro de bom coração.
