Blood Car is a 2007 black comedy film directed by Alex Orr and starring Anna Chlumsky, Katie Rowlett, and Mike Brune. It is set in a not-too-distant future where gasoline prices have become exorbitant ($30+ US/gallon).
Archie Andrews, a kindergarten teacher, is fed up and wants to find an alternative solution to substitute fuel, so while he's attempting to use wheatgrass, he accidentally cuts himself which suddenly breathes new life into his experiment, and uses blood to start his car.
