Crusade in Jeans ( Dutch: Kruistocht in spijkerbroek) is a 2006 Dutch film directed by Ben Sombogaart. It is an adaptation of the book Crusade in Jeans by Thea Beckman . Plot. Dolf is a 15-year-old boy from Rotterdam who plays for the junior national football team.
Synopsis. Dolf a 15 year old boy is sent back in time by a timemachine. Accidentally he is sent back to the Middle Ages. He is rescued by children who are part of a childrens' crusade, on their way to rescue Jeruzalem. During the trip Dolf finds out the danger is not coming from outside the crusade, but from within. Crusade in Jeans (1973) is a children's novel written by Thea Beckman. It contains a fictional account of the Children's Crusade of 1212, as witnessed by Rudolf Hefting, a boy from the 20th century. The original Dutch title is Kruistocht in spijkerbroek. A film version was released in 2006.

Crusade in Jeans. Un joven jugador de fútbol, Dolf falla un gol decisivo en el campeonato europeo para jóvenes, causando la eliminación de su equipo. Una vez en casa, utiliza a su madre investigadora y su máquina para viajar en el tiempo con la intención de volver al inicio el partido y así cambiar el resultado.
