The City Without Jews (German: Die Stadt ohne Juden) is a 1924 Austrian Expressionist film by Hans Karl Breslauer, based on the novel of the same title by Hugo Bettauer. The film is one of the few surviving Expressionist films from Austria and has therefore been well researched. The film was first shown on 25 July 1924 in Vienna.

The CITY WITHOUT JEWS is a film adaptation of a novel, which must be described as visionary in the most terribly imaginable way. Vienna embodies as location the fictitious place Utopia, in which the story is settled.
The story reveals anticipated rhetoric and racial laws by offering an anti-Semitic fantasy in which a future Austrian chancellor expels the nation’s Jews, only to watch the economy sputter, hospitals collapse, and cultural life grind to a halt.
