Once upon a time in the village of Kromer lived two beautiful young wolves. Cocksure Gabriel takes newcomer Seth under his paw and helps reconcile him to the vilification of wolves. They fall head-over-heels in puppy love. One day a wicked old crone kills their mistress, frame the wolves, and incite a mob of religious zealots to seek vengeance.
In the small English village of Kromer, the local residents are angered by the wild parties held by the promiscuous 'wolves' who dwell on the edge of town. When a woman is killed by her servants, they manage to put the blame on the wolves, who soon find themselves hunted by an angry mob.
