Les Nuits Blanches de Saint-Pétersbourg plot. Pozdnycheff, a riotous young man from St. Petersburg, has caused confusion in a friend's household, causing the latter to commit suicide. He has been obsessed with this memory ever since.
At the beginning of the 20th century, in Saint Petersburg, the high official Borowsky takes in his friend Serge Pozdnycheff, ruined for having led a life of debauchery. Serge seduces Sonia, Borowsky's wife, which pushes the latter to suicide.
