"Agent of Influence" is a TV movie from 2002. It is the disturbing true story of the CIA's falsely framing of the Canadian Ambassador to the USSR (Christopher Plummer) by exposing him as a Russian agent. In so doing, they want to force him to implicate the Prime Minister at the time, Pearson, as a Russian agent also.
