Your Money or Your Wife is a 1960 British comedy film directed by Anthony Simmons and starring Donald Sinden, Peggy Cummins, and Richard Wattis. [1] It was based on the play Count Your Blessings by Ronald Jeans .
Long-winded domestic comedy about unbearably lovey-dovey couple (Sinden and Cummins) struggling for money who decide to take in lodgers. Then, in a contrivance too far, lawyer Wattis tells them that to gain an inheritance they have to be divorced, causing Sinden to engineer an assignation with slinky Steele, to create legal grounds.
