Kermit Victor Lipez (born August 18, 1941) is an American lawyer who serves as a senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Judge Lipez is a senior judge on the First Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island. He has a long and diverse legal career, including service in the U.S. Department of Justice, the Maine state courts and private practice.
Kermit Victor Lipez is a federal judge on senior status with the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. He joined the court in 1998 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton. He assumed senior status on December 31, 2011.

Kermit Victor Lipez was born August 18, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Abraham Hyman Lipez and Beatrice (Mayerson) Lipez. He was graduated from Haverford College in 1963 and took his law degree from Yale Law School in 1967.
