Ida Lvovna Rubinstein (Russian: И́да Льво́вна Рубинште́йн; 3 October [O.S. 21 September] 1883 – 20 September 1960) was a Russian dancer, actress, art patron and Belle Époque figure. She performed with Diaghilev's Ballets Russes from 1909 to 1911 and later formed her own company.
Ida Rubinstein was a wealthy and influential Ukrainian Jewish actress, dancer, and producer who starred in controversial productions of Salomé, Antony and Cleopatra, and La Dame aux Camélias. She also founded her own ballet troupe and commissioned music from Ravel, Stravinsky, and Satie.
Ida Rubinstein (1885-1960) was a wealthy and influential performer in the Ballet Russes and her own ballet company. She was known for her lavish and well-received productions, such as "Le Martyre of Saint-Sebastian" and "Istar".
