He was a West Point graduate, an Air Force veteran, a Texas Business Hall of Fame inductee, and a beloved father and community advocate.
In September 2012, co-founder Charlie Cheever stepped down as co-operator of the company, taking an advisory role. D'Angelo then retained a high degree of control over the company. In January 2013, Quora launched a blogging platform allowing users to post non-answer content.
